I have to say, Kiki, I think you’re absolutely right. I’ve called it a swan because that’s how it was described on the exhibition labels, but a stork does seem far more likely.
I thought the same re- stork, because of the black-tipped wings – but the shape of the beak & the length of the neck are much more swan-like. So I think it’s definitely a swan. Plus there are swans with black-tipped wings.
