James Blunt: Back to Bedlam

This conjures up a very specific memory: sitting on the windowsill of my college rooms during the revision period for Finals, listening to You’re Beautiful, looking out over the lawns, avoiding my History books by reading Georgette Heyer, and watching random episodes of Six Feet Under with Susie from next door. Elegiac, self-indulgent, faintly depressing, and completely over-hyped by the end of the year. But hearing one line takes me straight back to that windowsill.
