The Doors: The Doors

The very first album my uncle sent to me as part of Rock School, which completely changed my attitude to music and which is probably in my top three favourite albums of all time. From the opening riffs of Break on Through… to the weird but hypnotic epic of The End, this is atmospheric rock at its very best. Afterwards I also got their later albums, but I feel they’ve lost the sheer magic and raw power of this debut.
